  • City of  Onawa , IA
    August 17, 2011
    The City of Onawa, Iowa has selected NewCom's CMS system to manage the records for the City's Onawa Cemetery.  NewCom staff will develop the system around the City's plat records which were recorded on survey maps.  The Cemetery's sales and interment records will be converted from an Excel based format. Onawa will accept delivery of their CMS system in September 2011.
  • City of  Ozark , AK
    August 8, 2011
    The City of Ozark, AK is performing a final review of the GIS conversion of their Highland Cemetery.  Once the details are blessed, NewCom will install its CMS system at City Hall to allow the City to manage all of its cemetery records from a desktop computer.
  • Riverside and East Riverside Cemeteries, Gouverneur, NY

    NewCom installed it's CMS software in July for cemetery operation in Gouverneur, NY. NewCom developed the mapping base from the association's paper plat records and supported conversion of their sales and interment records.
  • Linwood Cemetery Association, Dubuque, Iowa

    Linwood Cemetery Association has selected NewCom’s GIS based Cemetery Management System.  Linwood Cemetery Association is one of the oldest and largest cemeteries in Iowa.  At present Linwood Cemetery Association has 150 acres of which 90 acres are being maintained, with two future expansions being planned presently.  Some 60,000 persons have been buried at Linwood Cemetery.  Knowing that the cemetery will continue to grow, the cemetery personnel knew they needed a solution to enable better operational efficiency.  Working with the staff at Linwood Cemetery, all paper records will be converted to a digital format.  NewCom will deliver our Cemetery Management System, that will enable cemetery staff to identify and reference cemetery records using the GIS based map.
  • The Head of Christiana Cemetery, Newark, DE
    April 2011
    NewCom installed it's CMS software in April for the Head of Christiana Presbyterian Church.  The installation and training were done on-line using NewCom's special client interface. NewCom developed the map system from paper archives provided by the church.  The church staff will input the sales and interment records.
  • Buckingham Cemetery, Traer, IA
    March 2011
    The City of Traer accepted delivery of NewCom's CMS system as a turnkey package which included a new laptop for use in its cemetery operations.  NewCom constructed the cemetery map from paper records and provided support with the record conversion which was done by City staff.
  • Oakwood Cemetery, Pella, IA
    March 2011
    The City of Pella, Iowa selected NewCom's CMS system to manage its cemetery operations.  Oakwood also elected to have a turn-key project which included a new computer system for its operation.  NewCom converted all maps, interment and deed records to enable Oakwood to immediately start using its new system.

    NewCom has installed its CMS system for the City of De Funiak Springs  to manage it Magnolia Cemetery.  NewCom converted the City's records from various forms and moved them into its GIS based CMS system.
  • Bellevue Memorial Gardens, Evans, GA

    NewCom has completed installation of Bellevue Memorial Gardens cemetery.  The cemetery maintains over 22,000 burial spaces inclusive of multiple Mausoleums, Columbarium's and large scattering areas. NewCom developed a new application within CMS to support the wall views of the mausoleum walls in a finer detail.

    The City of Perry, IA, has accepted the installation of  NewCom CMS system to  enable cemetery staff to identify and reference critical cemetery records using the power of GIS.  
  • Beth Hamadrash Hagodol- Beth Jacob, Pittsburgh, PA

    NewCom provided this congregation with enhancement to its CMS system to support needs of the Jewish cemetery operations.  These included, the automatic conversion of a deceased member's death date to a Hebrew calendar date, enhanced reporting capabilities to include  generation of Yahrzeit letters to loved ones, and congregation outreach letters.  In addition, it also has capability to store information of congregation members' loved ones who are buried in other cemeteries.
  • St. John's and St. Mary's Catholic Cemeteries , Fayetteville, TX

    Installations of our CMS system for these cemeteries was complete in October 2010. Training and installation were done remotely through the internet using NewCom's special customer interface. The church staff members have been inputting their records from  paper-based archives and are now having NewCom add a third cemetery to their system.

    Scales Mound Cemetery is a rural cemetery association outside of Galena, IL.  Records have been convert from an older paper based system to NewCom's CMS GIS based management system.

    The City of Bellevue, an aggressively growing community in eastern Nebraska chooses NewCom to partner with to develop a map-based Cemetery Record Management System that will enable cemetery staff to identify and reference critical cemetery records using the power of GIS. Once implemented the City intends on bringing the data to their City web-site for genealogic reference

    A private cemetery that had made previous attempts to automate their records without success.  NewCom came to the table offering an end-to-end solution including drafting of the existing cemetery layout and also expanding the map for future expansion of more than 10 acres.  We assisted with converting records of one section that had been entered into a spreadsheet. Implementation consisted of GIS-base map of the cemetery, a geo-database and hardware to run the CRMS software.  Installation was completed on August 12, 2010.

    One of the largest and well established Jewish congregations in the Pittsburgh area. Having over 150 years of critical historical cemetery data on paper made it difficult to manage the inquiries. NewCom scanned and converted burial card and ownership information into a geo-database.  At the client's request, a special version of our Cemetery Management System was implemented which provide the ability to convert and store the interred death date in a Hebrew Calendar format.  Final training for the Synagogue's cemetery management group  was performed on-line.

    A small association cemetery in north central Missouri, worked with the local Chamber of Commerce to support in the funding for their cemetery record management system. The value to the association members is retaining critical interment records and to provide a tool that the next generation of Cemetery Board Members would be proud to use.  Installation is scheduled for the mid-September.

    A small Texas community tucked between Houston and San Antonio, St. John’s Catholic Church was looking for a solution that provided an interactive map that correlated with their ownership and burial records.  In addition they are expanding their cemetery by adding more than 300 burial spaces and wanted an easy to use CRMS solution.  NewCom will be performing the Installation in October 2010.

    The City of De Funiack Springs has chosen NewCom's GIS based Cemetery Management System to use to manage cemetery records in its Magnolia Cemetery.  NewCom will construct the necessary mapping  and convert the City's existing records.  The CMS system is expected to be on-line in February 2011. 
  • Holy Child Parish  - Mansfield, Pennsylvania

    Holy Child Parish has selected NewCom Technologies map based Cemetery Records Management System after an extensive search for a solution that would fit their growing needs.  They based their decision on functional features of the software and the service of developing a complete solution.  The parish has three active cemeteries (St. Joseph, St. Mary’s, and St. Andrew’s).  They will be active in March 2010

  • NewCom Announces New Release of its CMS ( Cemetery Management Software)

    NewCom will be providing current clients the latest version of its CMS solution.  Improvements have been implemented to improve the client interfaces.  This new release , version 9.3.567 supports multiple cemeteries managed through a singular GIS map interface, as well as changes to improve data entry efficiency and accuracy.

    The City of Lorenzo, Texas is NewCom's newest user of its Cemetery Management Software. The City selected NewCom to convert its paper maps of its cemetery to a GIS based mapping system.  In addition, the City's records were imported from an Excel format which was used to record interments and burial space availability.

    The Jewish congregation of Temple Beth El located in Neptune, NJ has selected NewCom CMS to manage its cemetery. The project reconstructed the cemetery's records from a combination of paper map archives and excel spread sheets.
  • Bunceton Masonic Cemetery, Bunceton, MO is added to the NewCom CMS user community....

    The Cemetery Board was looking to capture their many years of knowledge and cemetery record keeping that was transposed in 1920 on the back of a 50lb feed sack.  The Board has been actively looking for their successors and felt the need to automate the records was important.  NewCom assisted with developing a base map of the cemetery and entered their ownership and interment paper record data into a geo-database.  The Board was ecstatic about their investment into the future.  Bunceton Masonic Cemetery has been using the system since March 2009.
  • NewCom Welcomes the City of Baldwin City, Kansas to the CMS user community....

    The  City acquired an existing private cemetery within the City limits in January 2009.  The City Staff had minimal experience in managing cemetery operations, and partnered with NewCom Technologies to assist in creating a map based cemetery record management system.  The existing records were entered into a spreadsheet and many of the records needed validation. The City staff spent time walking the cemetery to validate and NewCom converted the records into a geo database along with developing a geo reference able map of the cemetery plots. The City has been able to improve the cemetery record management and the overall experience of the patrons.
